According to exclusively to The Hollywood Reporter , Tyler Ritter (The McCarthys) has been cast in a recurring role in the fifth season of Arrow.
Ritter will playing Detective Malone, a new addition to the Star City Police Department following Captain Lance’s (Paul Blackthorne) departure in season four of The CW hit television series.
No other information been disclosed on how much more of a role he’ll be playing on the series or how his role will directly affect Green Arrow, as the character isn’t canon to the DC Comics, as far as we know.
