Warner Bros. has officially extended their deal with IMAX to 2020, which will include 30 films by them for the next five years.
The DC Comics movies that are confirmed among the 30 films are Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice and Suicide Squad. Meanwhile 9 non-DC Comics related films were also included among the 30 films, leaving room for 9 other films to fill the open slots, 7 which we assume will be the rest of the DC films that have been already been slated all the way up until 2020, with Green Lantern being the last one, releasing on June 19th, 2020.
Though the article does state that IMAX will also offer several of Warner Bros. tentpoles movies based on DC Comics characters. In other words, the deal isn’t limited to 30 films from here, up until 2020.
