There’s been many rumors and speculation as to what timeline would the sequel to Patty Jenkins’s Wonder Woman sequel would take place in, many of the rumors being pointed towards the events of the Cold War that took place in the 1980’s, while many fans were hoping the movie would take place in current times.
Now it’s been officially confirmed by Warner Bros. during CinemaCon that Wonder Woman will be set in 80′.

Wonder Woman 2 will begin production this upcoming Summer, with a release date of November 1, 2019.
