The sequel to Patty Jenkins’s Wonder Woman, starring Gal Gadot as the title character as previously reported been confirmed to be shooting in the United States, as the second installment will be bringing Diana to America.  Now the most recent shooting site that’s being confirmed is that the there’ll be scenes shot at the Landmark Mall in Alexandria, Virginia.

The mall first opened in 1965 and closed in January 2017, so it’s a perfect shooting location for a movie that take places in the 1980’s as indoor shopping malls were the rave during those times and shooting will be easier on the production crew working inside an indoor closed mall.

Production for Wonder Woman 2 will be taking place sometime next month, as the movie is set for a Summer production shoot, but it isn’t confirmed if the filming will start in the United States first and then move oversea as there’s been reported that the movie is also eyeing to be shot in and around Europe.

Wonder Woman 2 releases in theaters on November 1, 2019.
