Nominations at Saturn Awards for DC Shows

The Saturn Awards nominations are out and all the DC Comics network shows have been nominated!

Carmen Bicondova who plays Selina Kyle/The Cat and future Catwoman on Gotham was nominated for “Best Performance by a Young Actor in a TV Series” and she took to her facebook page to thank her fans and Warner Bros. for giving her the opportunity to play such an iconic character.

It goes without saying the two shows that have the most in terms of mixed reviews have been Arrow on The CW and Gotham on FOX, both shows have split fans right down the middle, where as NBC’s Constantine and The CW’s The Flash seem to have an almost unanimous praise from fans and critics alike.

But on Gotham one of the consistent bright spots has been Carmen’s portrayal of her character as head strong, street smart, but still having a moral compass. Here I would like to say congratulations to the talented actress and hope to see her one day evolve into Catwoman in some form or another.

Also on her post she was proud to announce that Gotham was nominated for “Best Superhero Adaptation Television Series”, however upon further exploring I also discovered all the current DC shows were also nominated, this includes Arrow, The Flash and Constantine. I would like to also congratulate the cast and crew of all the shows on their nominations.

Grant Gustin, star of The Flash was nominated for “Best Actor in a TV Series”.

Wentworth Miller, who plays Captain Cold on The Flash (as well as the upcoming spin-off series) was nominated for “Best guest performance on a TV Series”

Even Batman: The Animated Series Complete Series got nominated for “Best DVD/BD TV Release”.

Congratulations to all nominees!
