Supergirl the Movie Will be Receiving a San Diego Comic Con Panel

As we perviously reported, Warner Archive officially announced that the HD Blu-Ray release of Supergirl (International Cut) starring Helen Slater, Peter O’Toole and Faye Dunaway will be released on July 24th. The release also includes a DVD copy of the longer Director’s Cut.

Now they’ve announced that Supergirl is getting a San Diego Comic Con panel this year on July 19th from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. Guest will include Helen Slater (Kara Zor-El/Supergirl), Marc McClure (Jimmy Olsen). Warner Archive Podcasters George Feltenstein, Matt Patterson, and D. W. Ferranti are on hand as well with Gary Miereanu as the moderator.

For those unable to attend San Diego Comic Con, Warner Archives are providing the podcast so fans can listen in, unfortunately the panel is not going to appear on the Blu-Ray release since the disc are already finished being made. It’s a shame to see that Supergirl is getting its own panel but they couldn’t wait to release the Blu-Ray and give us a new bonus feature. Hopefully we can still see the panel somehow.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten. I only started reading comics about 10 years ago but am connected more to DC over Marvel or any other major company. If you wanna chat feel free to contact me
