African American and Hispanic Moviegoers Were 41% of the Audience for Suicide Squad

PostTrak which is a box office exiting poll, has collected data for Suicide Squad Friday night, that has African-American and Hispanic moviegoers making up 41% of the audience for Suicide Squad, with both audience demographic giving the film a 81% positive score.

With Suicide Squad having such a diverse cast with actors like Will Smith (Deadshot), Jay Hernandez (El Diablo), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller) and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), it’s nice to see those character choices and the actors who played them, factored into a positive responds to group of people who normally don’t see someone like themselves in comic book movies as a central part.
