Alicia Coppola has been cast in Andrea Berloff’s The Kitchen as Maria Coretti, the wife ofBill Camp’s character. Coppola will star along side of Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish and Elisabeth Moss who all will be playing the wives of Irish mobsters, who take over the business after their husbands are sent to prison.
The Kitchen is based on the DC imprint Vertigo comic book series by the same name that follows the story of wives of Irish mobsters in Hell’s Kitchen in New York City in the late 1970s.
The New Line produced movie will also star Domhnall Gleeson, Margo Martindale, Bill Camp and Brian d’Arcy James, with a release date set for September 20, 2019.
