Ana Franchesca Rousseau to Play Lara Van-El in Supergirl

According to Supergirl.tv, Ana Franchesca Rousseau will be playing Lara Van-El in the pilot episode of Supergirl on CBS. For those who don’t know who Lara is, she’s Kal-El aka Superman’s mother.

They also report that their sources have confirmed to them that there will be a couple of scenes on Krypton and that the house of El won’t be only Alura and Zor-El, but also Lara Van-El.

They also report that baby will most likely Kal an appearance in the pilot episode, as there’s a casting call for twin babies and back in February there was a casting call for a Superman look-a-like, which they say gives off the impression that Superman will also appear on the television series.
