Ava Duvernay is Doing Her Homework For The New Gods

Since the news of Ava Duvernay being hired on by Warner Bros. to direct The New Gods, Duvernay has made it no secret how excited and devote she is towards the project on social media, as she “Thanked” The New Gods creator Jack Kirby on Twitter.

Now Duvernay’s most recent evidence of her devotion to the project, as she goes to show that she’s doing her homework by sharing the Epologue panel from one of The New Gods comic in her instagram story.

The New Gods still doesn’t have an official release date or production start date, but as we reported, screenplayer writer Kario Salem is onboard to craft the narrative for the movie.
