According to Variety through the source of ListenFirst Media, for the third year in a row Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been ranked the #1 most buzzed about movie to be featured at San Diego Comic Con for its appearing year.
This year it topped films such as Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which before this past weekend, many felt would be the clear winner when it came to overall buzz.
ListenFirst Media indicated Monday, as “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” topped the long list of titles in terms of activity across a combination of Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Tumblr, Wikipedia and YouTube.
“Batman v Superman” beat all comers on the strength of its trailer release Saturday that, as of Monday morning, generated 18.6 million views on YouTube and 17.7 million views on Facebook.
“Batman v Superman” not only saw the highest score but registered strong growth when compared with pre-Comic-Con levels, soaring 4,185%. Only “Ash vs. Evil Dead” experienced bigger growth among all top titles (4,923%).
