Margot Robbie Talks On The Rat Jared Leto Gifted Her as The Joker

Margot Robbie who plays Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad, is featured on and in the latest issue of Elle Magazine. In her interview with Elle she spoke on the rat Jared Leto who’s playing The Joker in the film, gifted her.

Named Rat Rat. (“Original!” says Robbie.) It was given to her by Jared Leto, or rather, Jared Leto’s character in the upcoming Batman flick Suicide Squad, in which he plays the Joker. Several crew members suggested killing it, but Robbie kept the rat because, “If Harley [her character in Suicide Squad] got something from Joker, she’d probably cherish it.” Rat Rat now dines on organic berries from Whole Foods.

This interview must have been done awhile ago, as most magazine interviews are, since it’s been recently confirmed that the rat is now in the hands of director Guillermo Del Toro.
