According to Production Weekly’s recent listing for Matt Reeve’s The Batman, Ben Affleck is listed as a producer for the movie. This news is after bloggers and other comic book sites flaming the rumors that Affleck is leaving the role of Batman, even though there’s no actual evidence of Affleck stepping down.
Affleck was perviously on-board to direct the movie, as well as writing the script with Geoff Johns, but Affleck has since stepped down from both positions, with Matt Reeves taking the reins.
Reeves has confirmed that The Batman will begin production in Spring 2019, likely because Warner Bros. has a 2020 release date for the movie, even though the release date for The Batman still hasn’t been confirmed by the studio
