Ben Affleck Clarifies on the Batman Movie Title

Ben Affleck after discussing what could be the title of his Batman standalone film in an interview with Collider, went on an interview with E! News to clarify his comment, as the media took his remarks about the film’s title as an official confirmation, when in reality the title of the Batman standalone film has yet to be decided upon.

“I mentioned the other day it’s been around for a long time, the movie, there is no Batman movie happening yet, we’re still trying to figure it out. You know, get the script and budget and all that stuff. And someone said, ‘What are you calling it?’ and I had said, like, back when we were promoting another movie, I was like ‘We don’t have a name for it, we’re just going with The Batman or Batman movie’, and I said that, and everyone was like ‘Affleck announces the title of his Batman movie. This title is so, boring, this title is so boring.’

Probably he noticed how fast on internet people create news based on assumptions or phrases, so he decided to clarify that the title is not confirmed yet. Unfortunately people of the internet are so hungry of money and informations that they create articles so they can earn money by click, with clickbabit titles. Until the movie will be official confirmed by Warner Bros., nothing is official. This remind me of that flipper-hands story. Michael Shannon said something about flipper hands and a problem to open a door, and almost every site online wrote that Zod or a new character played by Shannon, would had flipper hands. Journalism is not about assumptions, is about facts, but there is no space for truth online, and there aren’t real journalist, there are just people who write words, nothing more, something that everyone can do.
