Batman himself Ben Affleck officially joins the campaign to release director Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League, as of today he tweeted the simple hashtag #ReleaseTheSnyderCut.
The Snyder cut is the original cut of Justice League before Warner Bros. got their hands on it and butchered it due to the backlash that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice received for its dark and grittiness, the studio assume bringing in Marvel Studios director Joss Whedon to lighten it up the movie from original darker cut would be met with praise, but rather it was met with harsh backlash from not only fans Snyder’s work with Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but even critics of Dawn of Justice didn’t care much of the movie either. Leaving a small percentage of movie audience satisfied with the outcome of the theatrical release.
After months passed since the movie was released in theaters and was then known and made official that a original cut for Justice League did exist, Snyder and fans of the original DC Extended Universe went into full force to pressure Warner Bros. to release the original cut of the movie.
This campaign has been going full steam ahead for months now and as of recently many of the cast members have jumped onboard to push for the original cut to be release, and now Affleck himself has finally joined them!
