Birds of Prey Title Change is Only for Display and Search Purposes

The Editorial Lead of Atom Tickets, Alisha Grauso went on to confirm that the title change that fans are now seeing online for Birds of Prey, which is now being  displayed as Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey on a handful of theater chain sites, is not an official title change for the movie. Grauso goes on to say that the change in title is only meant for display/search purposes only for vendors and theaters.

She also goes on to say in a follow-up tweet that the title will be original everywhere else and on record. Though many fans believe the title change makes sense, as Harley is the major player in the movie and also the most popular character, while others feel it’s unfair to the other characters.

Update on the #BirdsofPrey title change: It’s apparently for display/search purposes only for vendors and theaters, not an official title change. Just to clarify for those of you writing about it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

1. The title will be the original everywhere else and on record 2. Theaters now can display the new title if it helps with search (or the studio directly requests it) 3. Not this exact scenario for a tentpole (that I can think of but I could absolutely be wrong)
