In an interview with USA Today, while promoting her latest film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Cara Delevingne who played June Moon/Enchantress in Suicide Squad confirmed in the interview that she’s pretty sure she won’t be returning to the film’s sequel.
“Pretty sure. It was a life-changing experience and of course I’d do another one, but I don’t think it would make sense for the character. I’ll probably still be on the set hanging out with everyone.”
The Suicide Squad sequel still doesn’t have a director attached or an official release date, so anything possible and the “pretty sure” can be changed to “possible”, time will only tell. Though it is also possible she could become attached to the Justice League Dark film, as in the New 52 comics, Enchantress is their main villain.
