Director Chris McQuarrie during the press junket for his latest movie Mission Impossible – Fallout at CinemaCon, was interviewed by CinePOP, in which he was asked if he had any plans in directing a superhero movie, in which McQuarrie ended up responding stating he never really thought about it, but goes on to say if the story is right and the character right, he would, as he loves working with Henry Cavill, who also stars in Mission Impossible – Fallout.
“I’ve never really thought about it,” he replied. “I feel like if the story was right and the character was right – I love working with Henry, Henry’s great.”
Then when asked if he would direct Man of Steel 2 with Henry Cavill, McQuarrie went on to simply say:
“If Henry asked me to, sure, why not?”
