Christian Bale during a press junket for Ridley Scott’s Exodus: Gods of Kings he was asked if he felt that there was still room to continue exploring his version of Batman from The Dark Knight Trilogy in more films, this is what Bale had to say about that:
“character that could have kept on going and going and going,” but “it was right for Chris (Nolan) to finish it where he did.”
When mentioning bringing his Batman from The Dark Knight Trilogy into Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Bale had this to say:
“Ours doesn’t belong in any other version at all, it was appropriate to leave at the right time.”
