Shazam! director David F. Sandberg recently went onto his official Twitter account to state he’s been working on the movie at all hours of the day, stating he’s been shooting main unit during the day and checking on the second unit during the nights, while getting sleep in between.
He finishes his tweet saying that they’re getting some pretty awesome stuff for the movie.
Shooting main unit during the day and checking in on second unit during nights. The hours that I’m not on set I spend sleeping. But we’re getting some pretty awesome stuff ⚡💥

Shazam! began production back in February and has yet to show any signs of wrapping anytime soon, at least from what we know of the production. With a release date of April 5th, 2019 the movie is officially less than a year from premiering in theaters.
