As previously reported, screenplay writer Adam Sztykiel was announced to be writing the screenplay for the standalone Black Adam film starring Dwayne Johnson. Even though the source of the report was reliable it wasn’t confirmed by New Line or anyone attached to the film… until now that is.
Actor Dwayne Johnson who’s playing the title character confirmed the news on Twitter, as he expressed his excitement with Sztykiel coming on board to helm the script for the film.
Excited to expand the DC Universe w/ writer Adam Sztykiel (co-wrote @rampagethemovie) and bring this complex & gritty anti-hero to the big screen. This character’s in my bones. Ruthless code. #Kneel #BlackAdam⚡️https://t.co/mGUKIQAcSP

Yeah bud, you’re right but such is our business with writers. Adam’s POV of the Black Adam/DCEU universe was extremely impressive. Great take. Plus he was a great collaborator on Rampage 👍🏾
