Ray Fisher who plays Cyborg and will appearing in Justice League on November 17th, recently spoke to Comicbook.com on the future of his character’s standalone film, which was originally slated to be released on sometime in 2020.
Since the announcement of the film there hasn’t been any word on the development of the film, as no director has been hired to helm the film. Fisher goes on to say that things are in development with the film and goes on to say he thinks the Cyborg film will be a more intimate story.
“Things are in development. If I had my druthers, I think a Cyborg standalone would be a slightly more intimate story. One of the things that I always think is interesting with these sort of universes, is whenever there’s a world threatening crisis, it always makes you wonder, ‘Where are the other members of the group? Why didn’t they show up?’ I think finding an organic way to explain why these characters have to have their solo mission.”
