It was confirmed back in April of this year that David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight, Man of Steel) and Justin Marks (The Legend of Chun-Li, Jungle Book) were working on the film adaptation of Vertigo Comics’ Federal Bureau Of Physics for Warner Bros.
Since then no new word on the project has been reported until today in a recent interview by Deadline with David S. Goyer, which the project was mentioned and confirmed to still be in the works:
There is also the adaptation of the Vertigo Comics title Federal Bureau Of Physics that Justin Marks is scripting.
Tiny mention, but it’s still nice to see.
Federal Bureau Of Physics, also known as FBP is about a world where disturbances in the laws of physics are as common as weather, and necessitate forecasts about wormhole locations, momentary gravity losses, and entropy reversals. The story follows special agent Adam Hardy as he deals with internal departmental battles and increasingly dangerous and radical quantum disasters.
