Florence Kasumba to Play Senator Acantha in Wonder Woman

According to IMDb, actress Florence Kasumba is playing one of the Noble Amazons, Senator Acantha in Wonder Woman. Kasumba recently appeared in the comic book film Captain America: Civil War, as Security Chief to the character of T’Challa.

In the DC Comics, Acantha first appeared in issue #10 of Wonder Woman and is one of the many Notable Amazons in Themyscira. There isn’t much else known of the character from the comics, which translates to how big or little Kasumba’s role in Wonder Woman might be.
