After seeing Warner Bros’ crime thriller Focus, starring Suicide Squad’s leads Will Smith (Deadshot) and Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn). We can proudly confirm that both actors have outstanding chemistry and will work amazingly together in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad.

Because the one thing Focus drives home is that both actors play off each other fabulously well! That’s one thing in our opinion that has to work when it comes to two actors who are possibly going to be working together on multiple films, they need to have the chemistry to work together and these two most definitely have it. Also an added extra, they’re both incredibly charismatic as actors.

In Suicide Squad we’ll be seeing Smith and Robbie having to team up together, in Focus we get a good sense of how this partnership maybe be like,  as their characters Nicky (Smith) and Jesse (Robbie) are both con artist, that scheme others for money, with many fun twist and turns.

There’s also a romance between the two characters, a big part in the overall story for the film, which is another important aspect to Smith and Robbie being able to pull off Deadshot and Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad, as the two characters share a “romantic” relationship… we say this loosely.

Anyone who’s read the New 52 Suicide Squad comic book series or have seen Batman: Attack on Arkham can tell you what type romantic relationship Deadshot and Harley Quinn share: a very non-conventional one.

Needless to say, Smith and Robbie work great as a romance couple in Focus, as they share some really hot steamy moments in the film, as well as some very touching, lovely moments. The latter won’t matter for their roles as Deadshot and Harley Quinn, but the former will most definitely will.

We’ll end on this note– if you’re hungry for the David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, we strongly suggest you go and watch Focus this weekend. As you’ll get an early taste of Will Smith and Margot Robbie’s on screen chemistry and you won’t regret it afterwards, as the film is actually really fun, with good laughs and a thrilling con artist, love story.

Focus releases this Friday, February 27th.
