The Suicide Squad director James Gunn as he’s known to have close interactions with his fans, went on to Twitter to answer a question asked by a fan regarding when we’ll see the first official image for the movie.
Gunn went on to say that even though editing of the film itself has been pretty smooth in the time of quarantine, all the other factors have been slowed down, such as releasing images and the official trailer.

The Suicide Squad is slated to be released in theaters on August 6th, 2021.
