Aquaman director James Wan went on to Twitter to respond to a fan, in which he goes on to confirm that he wanted the Aquaman logo to be brighter than the original logo that was released last year during San Diego Comic Con.
When the fans went on to say “You can tell they got a direct order to make everything “less dark”. This logo is the opposite of all previous DCU posters.” in which Wan simply responded with “Yes. From me”.
Overall the DC Films seems to be moving away from the darker overall look that seem to be the main look for Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Aquaman releases in theaters on December 1st, 2018.
