Jason Momoa confirmed in an interview with DC All Access, that director Zack Snyder confirmed to him that Aquaman was in fact the one who saved Clark in Man of Steel after the oil rig explosion.
I’ll give you a cool little thing that isn’t in this movie, that Zack told me, for his idea of doing Aquaman. In Man of Steel, when Henry is saving the oil rig, he’s holding that up, then you see him in the ocean, kind of floats up in the ocean– ‘I’ve had Aquaman save him, they did cross paths’.
