Joe Manganiello was rumored to be the frontrunner for Deathstroke for Suicide Squad, a character who hasn’t been confirmed to be in the film by Warner Bros. or anyone attached to the film.
We reported on the news previously, but have now since swore to no longer use this source on this site due to how often they’ve been wrong in the past, how often their scoops change day-to-day that it becomes hard to keep up with what’s real and what’s not or if any of it is truly real. Then there’s also the fact when they’re right normally you can trace another media source for actually getting the scoop first.
But now that Manganiello has confirmed he was never up for the role, it only gives us reason to pause when it comes to reporting scoops/rumors from this source.
To the #SS rumor mill, that’s not the character I was in talks for, nor was I replaced by anyone. Never signed on. #DontBelieveTheHype

Of course people can say Manganiello is lying and he’s still Deathstroke, but the same source who said Manganiello was Deathstroke is now claiming another actor is Deathstroke. What a mess, right?
