Brother directors Joe and Anthony Russo who are the directors to the upcoming big vent movie Avengers: Endgame, who also helm successful Marvel Studios movies such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, were recently interviewed by MTVNews, where they were asked on the possibility of them directing a movie in the DC universe.
Joe was quick to state that their brains are fogged that they don’t know if they would consider anything, but then adds at the end “But, you know, you never say, never”, clearly his way of leaving the door open if Warner Bros. were ever to knock.
“I mean, our brains are so fogged at this point that I don’t know we can consider anything. But, you know, you never say, ‘never.”

At the moment DC fans aren’t happy with the Russo brothers taking on any DC Comics projects after Joe’s comments last year during a Q&A, where he said that DC characters were too powerful and felt largely unrelatable.
