Kiersey Clemons who was originally cast to play Iris West by then The Flash director Rick Famuyiwa, who was also supposed to appear in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, but her scene was later removed from the movie for reasons unknown, has confirmed last night during her interview on the late night talk show Conan, that she’s still playing Iris West.
Iris West in DC Comics and the The Flash television series on The CW, is Barry Allen’s love interest, who later becomes his wife.
The Flash which was changed from being a standalone Barry Allen into the Flash origin story, was then later changed to follow the Flashpoint storyline, but now it’s being reported, but not confirmed by anyone affiliated to the project or Warner Bros., that it’s back to being an origin story.
The Flash is now being helmed by directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, with a release date of sometime 2020.
