Billy Dee Williams Says He Played Harvey Dent to Play Two-Face

Actor Billy Dee Williams who’s best known for his role as Lando Calrissian in Star Wars, was asked during his MegaCon Orlando panel, that took place on Saturday, on his role as Harvey Dent in the Tim Burton’s Batman.

The fan whom asked the question, went on to ask if Williams wanted to continue playing the role to the point of transforming to the character of Two-Face, in which Williams went on to say the reason he went on to take on the role of Harvey Dent to begin with, was to eventually play the character of Two-Face.

Sadly he never got the opportunity to physically play Two-Face, even though he was given the chance to voice the character in The LEGO Batman Movie, due to the changes made behind the scenes.

Those changes were the reason Williams was never to reprise the role again, as Batman changed directors from Tim Burton to Joel Schumacher, who ended up casting Tommy Lee Jones as the character of Two-Face in Batman Forever.

Even though it’s been 29 years since Batman 1989, fans seem to still yearn to see Billy Dee Williams play the infamous Batman villain Two-Face.
