Kiersey Clemons who’s playing Iris West in the DC Extended Universe, her first appearance is said to be in Justice League, recently spoke with Entertainment Tonight when promoting her latest film Flatliners, went on to talk on her role as Iris West, when asked if her Iris West is anything likes Candice Patton’s role on The CW television series The Flash.
“I mean, to be honest, I haven’t tried to pull from her at all,” she said. “I want my Iris West to be its own world. Because of going back and forth past and future with The Flash, you don’t even know what time period you actually meet Iris.”
Then when asked where they are on the process of Flashpoint, Clemons confirms they’re still in the process of getting a director:
“We’re in the process of still replacing our director, we just got a new script. Me and Ezra, I guess, are just hanging out!”
