Lucifer Creator Neil Gaiman Praises Tom Ellis’ Performance in the Pilot

Neil Gaiman who’s the creator of Lucifer in the DC Comics imprint Vertigo under the comic book series Sandman, was able to watched the pilot episode of the live action television pilot, which will be airing on FOX.

In regards to the pilot, Gaiman nothing but positive things to say about Tom Ellis’ (Lucifer) performance in the pilot, stating he loved it so much that the whole pilot worked, hence why he believes FOX greenlit the pilot to a series order.

@whmullally I always expect the worst, but loved @tomellis17‘s performance so much that the whole thing worked. I get why Fox greenlit it.
