The former Wonder Woman from the 1970’s television series Lynda Carter, was recently interviewed by ET Canada at a red carpet event. In the interview she was asked why it took so long for a Wonder Woman film to be made, in which Carter responded first with a joke–saying they had a hard time replacing her, but went on to have a serious answer to the question.
“I think that they needed a woman director and they needed to focus to be about the story of who she [Wonder Woman] is and I think they got that. So from what I understand, it’s going to be great. I can’t wait!”
