The Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics Geoff Johns, has a lot on his plate lately and this includes promoting current and upcoming DC related properties during the last night’s show of Late Night With Seth Meyers.
During the interview Geoff Johns went on to talked about what the true meaning of Rebirth means, regarding the new series that DC Comics is launching. Johns goes on to say that it is not a reboot– “That’s a swear word in the comic book world”, but its a culmination of what once existed with what exists now.
Johns then goes on to talk about how it’s like to work with Ben Affleck on The Batman script and Affleck’s ability to read and write dialogue. Johns as many knows has written some of the most well-known and recent story arcs for DC Comics, including Batman: Earth One, The Flash: Flashpoint and Justice League (New 52). With Ben Affleck’s ability to write great film dialogue and Johns’ comic book storytelling, The Batman is sure to be a great film experience.
DC Universe Rebirth #1 is on sale now featuring 80 pages for $2.99 and is co-written by Geoff Johns.
