Earlier this year, it was rumored that Ben Affleck no longer wanted to play Batman and that he wasn’t returning for the production of The Batman.
This rumor was debunked throughout the months, but it seems like the media still wants to be reassured that Affleck is still on board to play Batman in the film, as during the premiere of War for The Planet of The Apes, director Matt Reeves, who will helm The Batman, was asked by Getty Images, if the film will be made with Affleck in the title role.
This is what was Reeves’ response when asked if Affleck will be playing Batman in The Batman:
Right now that’s exactly what’s going on, for sure.
Matt Reeves confirms Ben Affleck is still Batman. This is a no brainer but due to fake news some doubted Ben would stay. Can we move on now? pic.twitter.com/z6ZgkKzvf1
