Lord and Miller Could Direct The Flash If they Want

According to The Hollywood Reporter, director duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller (The LEGO Movie, 21 Jump Street) who were previously hired on to helm The Flash, who then left the project to helm the Star Wars prequel film Han Solo, still have the opportunity to jump back onto the project if they choose to.

What will happen next for Lord and Miller isn’t clear, but they are in demand and have an open berth waiting for them to direct The Flash for Warner Bros., if they chose to take it. (They had left that film for the Han Solo movie but could return.)

Lord and Miller were recently fired from continuing to direct the Star Wars spin-off due to creative differences.

Since that news broke, rumors have swirled around that Warner Bros. is more than opened for them to return to helm The Flash stand alone film, as the film has already lost two directors, who were also set to write the film’s script.

Since the the departure of Rick Famuyiwa, who’s the last director that was set to write and direct The Flash, the film has been in production limbo, with no director insight to helm the film.
