Melissa Benoist who plays Kara on Supergirl spoke exclusively with Entertainment Tonight on the set of the series. Benoist spoke on being a role model now that she’s playing Supergirl on the CBS freshmen television series, among other things such as her mother’s reaction to her in the Supergirl costume.
