Breaking News: Michelle MacLaren has officially signed on to develop and direct Wonder Woman. MacLaren has been the top choice for most fans from the very beginning, due to her work on beloved television shows like Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and for us here personally — The X-Files.
Back on November 12th, MacLaren was reported as being the frontrunner to direct the film, so this news may not come as a big surprise for some.
Regardless it’s always wonderful to get the official word on something like — who’s directing the first theatrical live action Wonder Woman film.
Zack Snyder, Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are said to be among those who will be producing the movie along side Maclaren.
Wonder Woman is set to release in theaters on June 23rd, 2017, starring Gal Gadot.
