Nicole Kidman who’s playing Queen Atlanna, the mother of the title character in Aquaman, recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter during an interview for her recent film Killing of a Sacred Deer. In the interview Kidman goes on explain how she likes her role.
This was Kidman’s response after the interviewer asked her what acting muscles was she allowed to stretch during the filming of the movie:
“I got to be a mermaid. I got to be a queen, I got to wear a crown, I got to lie on a rock with my hair strewn and blood and I kind of liked it”
She then goes on to clarify she’s not actually playing a mermaid, once the interviewer mentions it.
