Academy Award winning producer Michael De Luca, who won for his producing work on David Fincher’s The Social Network, has been hired on by Warner Bros. as a producer for the upcoming Suicide Squad sequel.
The Suicide Squad sequel will be directed by Gavin O’Connor, as David Ayer is not returning and Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) and Jared Leto (The Joker) have all been confirmed to return for the Suicide Squad sequel.
The movie is set to be release sometime in 2019, with filming scheduled to happen later this year confirmed by Margot Robbie.
