According to Omega Underground the production for the Suicide Squad sequel, which is set to be directed by Gavin O’Connor, will begin filming sometime in October of next year.
Actress Margot Robbie who plays Harley Quinn recently confirmed in an interview that she was going to start filming a DC Comics film in October and since the Suicide Squad sequel is the only film starring Robbie that has been officially announced by Warner Bros. it make sense that the upcoming DC film she’ll be in, will be the Suicide Squad sequel.
If this is true, Warner Bros. will have three DC Comics movies in the works for 2018 David F. Sandberg’s Shazam on February 5th in Toronto, Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman 2 in June, and Gavin O’Connor’s Suicide Squad 2 in October.
