Director Petter Jackson, who’s best known for bringing the The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit book series to life on film for Warner Bros, was recently interviewed by the French entertainment site Allocine, for his latest produced movie Mortal Engines.
In the interview he was asked if was true he was directing a DC movie, as Jackson was previously rumored to be attached to a mysterious DC movie, Jackson went quickly debunk the rumor, stating that there was no discussion and he’s not a fan of comics as he’s never read any.
That’s not true. I had no discussions about that. I’m not a fan of comics, I’ve never read any, so I’m not particularly interested in adapting one for cinema. That’s not true at all.
