Actor Todd Stashwick who’s best known by DC fans for playing Richard Sionis / The Mask on Gotham, confirmed exclusively on today’s podcast of DC Movie News, that he’s co-writing the second installment to Suicide Squad, with director Gavin O’Connor and co-head of DC Films, Geoff Johns.
This is very much of a surprise, as Stashwick only other writing credit on IMDB is an untitled Star Wars video game, but he does go on to explain his history with writing, stating he’s been writing for years and has written a comic book series titled Devil Inside. Stashwick also goes on to say he’s a huge DC Comics fan, as he has the tattoos to prove his devotion and he understands the genre that’sSuicide Squad.
While explaining how he landed the co-writing job for the movie, Stashwick also goes on to confirm there’s another writer who’s on-board to help write the script, David.
