According to One Headlight Ink, the pilot episode of Preacher will beginning shooting mid-May in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This information comes from casting for extra roles for the pilot episode, which asks locals hopeful of landing a background role can begin the submission process by sending clear, up-to-date photos and detail information about their psychical appearance and even their car appearance details to White Turtle Casting.
Seth Rogen hinted at a filming location days ago when he tweeted a scouting photo of a church with the hashtag “Preacher”:

Preacher will star Dominic Cooper as Jesse Custer who’s the Preacher, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (This is The End, Neighbors, The Interview) are directing and as well as writing along with Sam Catlin (Breaking Bad), meanwhile James Weaver (This is The End, Neighbors, The Interview) will oversee the series.
