Canadian martial artist, stuntwoman and actress Samantha Jo is playing the DC Comics character Euboea, in Wonder Woman. Euboea in the Wonder Woman comics, is a high-ranking Amazon general, who possesses the same potential powers as the average Amazonian.
This casting news was unveiled by a fan page devoted to Samantha Jo’s Mortal Kombat: Legacy character Kitana, and even though this casting hasn’t been officially announced by Warner Bros. or anyone officially attached to Wonder Woman, there’s no reason to believe it not to be true, as Jo is seen on the set of Wonder Woman.
Jo is no stranger to the DC Extended Universe as she previously appeared in Man of Steel as the stuntwoman to Antje Traue, who played the Kryptonian Faora.
