A new report coming from Production Weekly has revealed that Seth Grahame-Smith, who was originally the director for The Flash and who was also writing first draft for the movie, will is still being credited for the movie’s screenplay.
Grahame-Smith who’s best known as the author of The Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, stepped down from directing The Flash standalone movie back in 2016 due to creative differences with Warner Bros., for him to then be replaced with Dope director Rick Famuyiwa, who also stepped down due also having creative differences with the studio.
Now directing team John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who helped write the screenplay to Spider-Man: Homecoming, are on-board to direct the movie, along with finish writing the final screenplay.
The Flash movie has a 2020 release date, with word of it starting production next year.
