According to Gitesh Pandya, an editor of BoxOfficeGuru.com, Suicide Squad is 40% ahead of August record holder Guardians of the Galaxy from two years ago on Movietickets.com.
As we previously reported, Suicide Squad is also breaking records for August on Fandango as the top-selling movie for pre-ticket sales for the month, for the site. With these positive reports on ticket sales, there’s no doubt Suicide Squad will have a big opening weekend for Warner Bros, that’ll likely lead the film to have the biggest opening weekend for the month of August domestically.
