Suicide Squad Opens to $267 Million Worldwide

Suicide Squad dominated the international box office, earning $132 million from 17,670 screens in 57 countries over its first five days, for a worldwide total of $267.1 million. While also breaking records for IMAX global take, with $19.2 million, which surpassed Guardians of the Galaxy $15.9 million for the month of August.

Internationally, the film marks the biggest August opening ever for IMAX, the all-time biggest opening for company with $7.2 million.
